Listening to the governor...

The governor's budget address... We're going to have to cut. He just said we're not going to cut... No applause from Rs only Ds. Then he said he favors a constitutional amendment. Standing ovation from Rs... Ds remain sitting and silent.

Orientation begins...

Starting tomorrow, House Orientation begins... While I know a great
deal of what it's like at the State House from past years of activism,
this will be a new education in many ways. Looking forward to it, and
meeting many of the nearly 180 folks newly elected this session.

Wow! A Republican Sweep...

All 6 seats in Merrimack 6 won.  I'm shocked, and I know plenty of others who are around the state...  Too late for much analysis, more in the morning.

Yours,

Representative-Elect Seth Cohn, Merrimack 6

Correction for the recent flyer...

When the flyer I've been tubing the last few days went through final rewriting before printing, I misrecalled the voting for HB644, the gas tax raise.  Rep. Deb Wheeler didn't vote for or against it, she actually missed that vote. (As did Rep. Clarke, who isn't running again).  My apologies to Rep. Wheeler for the misattribution.
